FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Are e-bikes allowed in Zion National Park?

Yes. Zion National Park allows Class 1 pedal-assist e-bikes anywhere traditional bicycles are permitted, including the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive and the Pa’rus Trail.

What type of e-bikes are allowed in Zion?

Only Class 1 pedal-assist e-bikes are allowed inside Zion National Park. These bikes provide assistance only while pedaling and stop assisting at 20 mph.

Can I ride e-bikes in Springdale?

Yes. E-bikes are allowed throughout Springdale on roads and bike-friendly areas. Springdale is one of the most popular places to ride because it connects directly to Zion National Park and the Pa’rus Trail.

Why rent an e-bike in Zion instead of taking the shuttle?

E-bikes allow you to explore Zion at your own pace, avoid shuttle lines, stop whenever you want for photos, and experience the canyon in a much more open and scenic way.

Do you provide helmets and locks?

Yes. Helmets and bike locks are included with every rental for safety and convenience.

Where can I ride inside Zion?

You can ride on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, the Pa’rus Trail, and paved roads open to bicycles. E-bikes are not allowed on hiking trails or off-trail areas.

What are the Utah e-bike laws?

Utah recognizes three classes of e-bikes:

  • Class 1: Pedal-assist up to 20 mph
  • Class 2: Throttle-assisted up to 20 mph
  • Class 3: Pedal-assist up to 28 mph

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Helmets are strongly recommended for all riders and included with every rental.

Can beginners ride your e-bikes?

Absolutely. Our bikes are easy to ride, comfortable, and beginner-friendly. Most guests have little or no e-bike experience before riding with us.

Where are you located?

We serve the Springdale / Zion National Park area and provide convenient access for exploring Zion Canyon.

How long do rentals last?

We offer flexible rental options including hourly, half-day, and full-day rentals.

Can I stop and hike during my ride?

Yes. Most riders stop throughout Zion Canyon for photos, scenic overlooks, and short hikes. Locks are included with rentals so you can safely secure your bike.

Are reservations recommended?

Yes. Zion gets very busy, especially during spring, summer, and holidays. Reserving ahead of time helps guarantee availability.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing water, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, and a phone or camera. Zion can get very hot during the summer months.

Can children ride e-bikes?

Age and height requirements vary by bike model. Riders should be comfortable operating a bicycle safely.

A single premium stretch cruiser e‑bike parked on the edge of a paved scenic overlook facing the towering red rock formations of Zion National Park in the distance. The bike’s elongated frame, integrated battery, and swept-back handlebars are shown in crisp detail, with brushed aluminum accents and a plush ergonomic saddle. Soft morning light illuminates the sandstone cliffs and casts a gentle side light on the bike, creating refined highlights on the metal and subtle texture on the tires.
